In 1983, Flinders Christian Community College was established and generosity has been a cornerstone in the History of Flinders for over 40 years, inspiring our mission to bring Hope and Purpose through Christian Education.
At Flinders we strive to ensure that our education offering is accessible to as many young people as possible. Flinders Giving aims to raise funds for our Scholarship and Bursary fund to give the gift of education to young, capable, and aspirational students who, due to financial or social barriers, are unable access the great opportunities that Flinders has to offer.
Giving is embedded in the culture of our College - with student-led initiatives including the Cuthbert Carnival, Little PNG, the Nicholls House Colour Run and the World's Greatest Shave; our staff, students and community come together in generosity and faith.
Our Parents and Friends (P&F) committees give both their time and resources for activities including the annual Mothers and Fathers Day stalls, Movie Nights, the Second Hand Uniform Shop and more. We are also incredibly blessed by their contributions to the Scholarships and Bursary Fund as Major Donors!
College Alumni are cherished by staff and students alike, with many Alumni contributing to the growth of Flinders both voluntarily and professionally. A Cross Campus highlight is the Alumni involvement at our annual School Productions through Sponsorship, various Production Teams and even show performances.
