Chaplaincy Services at Carrum… | Flinders Christian Community College

The chaplaincy service at Flinders provides pastoral and practical support for your child throughout their school career, by offering advice and encouragement, and seeking to nurture them in all aspects of their social, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

The chaplaincy program is a voluntary service available to you and your child. There is no obligation to participate, and you may choose to opt out of the program at any time.

Chaplaincy at Carrum Downs

The chaplaincy program at Carrum Downs Campus is available to all students and parents each week on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. This service is aimed at supporting all our students as they work through personal issues, assisting their development helping them to reach their full potential.

The new chaplaincy room is open in J5 in the gymnasium building. This is a wonderful new area where all our students can connect at recesses and lunchtimes. This voluntary service means that your child will always have someone to talk to in a safe and non-judgemental environment.

Parents are invited to contact the chaplain by email or through reception.

Our chaplaincy service is partially funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations and complies with National Schools Chaplaincy and Student Welfare Program (NSCSWP) Guidelines September 2011.

In addition to the NSCSWP program we offer service funded by the college, which include fortnightly chapel services, Bible studies and regular opportunities for students to develop and explore their faith.
