Bus Transport - Tyabb Campus

Tyabb Campus is serviced by buses that travel along Mornington-Tyabb Road, and by a charter bus service. Students who live in Tyabb can walk to school; supervised crossings are available on Mornington-Tyabb Road and Boes Road, both near an entrance to the college.

Charter Bus Service

Students at Tyabb campus can take advantage of bus services that connect Tyabb to Tooradin, Langwarrin, Mornington, Mt Eliza, Mt Martha and Pt Nepean (Blairgowrie). Please see bus routes below or contact reception for additional information.

2024 Bus Fees

Note: The Charter Bus fee only applies if you have nominated and been offered a seat on the charter bus service for your child. Please enquire at the College for more information. Annual Bus rates are charged for the College year. State Bus Travel conveyance allowance will be applied directly to your family account.

Casual Bus Passes

We run five bus routes to and from our Tyabb Campus. The routes and schedules are below.

To book a casual bus pass

1. Call or visit the business office to check on availability of a seat (03) 5973 2000
   Office hours: 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday
2. Payment for the casual bus pass can be made over the phone or in person.

Crown App

Crown Coaches has developed an app for parents and guardians of students on Flinders’ school runs.

• The app allows you to track your child(ren)’s bus and provide updates if a bus is running more than 10 minutes late.
• Parents will receive a notification when their child(ren) boards the bus and disembark at school or the bus stop in the afternoon.

The Crown Coaches app is optional, but we highly recommend you install the app so that you know where your child is when they are on the bus.

Please note: Students must swipe on and off the bus with the Student ID Card. If they misplace their card, please order a replacement through the Business Office. The cost for a replacement is $10.

Public Bus AM Service

Students living in the Frankston, Somerville, Tyabb, Hastings, Bittern, Crib Point, Balnarring and Flinders areas can reach the college in the morning via the Route 782 Service that runs between Frankston Station and Flinders.

This bus drops Students off outside Flinders CCC at the pedestrian crossing at 6.39am, 7.38am and 8.46am.

Ventura Bus PM Service

Students living in the Frankston, Somerville, Tyabb, Hastings, Bittern, Crib Point, Balnarring, and Flinders areas can catch the PM Buses, run by Ventura, which depart from Flinders Christian Community College Tyabb after 4.00pm daily.

Buses arrive at Flinders Christian Community College Tyabb at 4.00pm

Buses leave at 4.05pm

• Bus 1- Flinders Christian Community College Tyabb to Frankston Station
  Stops outside shops or train station in Somerville, then stops where student requests until back at Frankston

• Bus 2- Flinders Christian Community College Tyabb to Balnarring
