In 1983, Flinders Christian Community College was established to bring hope and purpose to our community through the blessings that come with being able to provide excellence in Christian education. Hope and purpose are the heart of Flinders and it is with this in mind, that we established our first Giving Day in 2022, to raise funds for Bursaries in 2023 and beyond. We are delighted to share that we currently have five students on a Bursary from the Flinders Giving Day Fund, who are all flourishing and thriving within the College.
At Flinders we strive to ensure that our education offering is accessible to as many young people as possible. Our Giving Day aims to raise funds to give the gift of education to young, capable, and aspirational students who, due to financial or social barriers, are unable access the great opportunities that Flinders has to offer.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated to our Giving Day on 20 July 2023, together you helped us raise funds for our Flinders Bursaries! To our wonderful matching donors - thank you for your generosity which doubled each donation for 24 hours - we can't thank you enough!
