We have an excellent music program here at Flinders, through which many of our students discover an abiding love of music and talents that bring them lifelong joy.
Our Music Faculty offers a creative and exciting classroom music curriculum, as well as an extensive instrumental music and ensemble program, so your child will have every opportunity to develop their skills and explore their musical tastes.
We are extremely lucky to have many talented and highly qualified classroom and instrumental music tutors who tutor our students on a wide range of instruments.
Our students have lots of opportunities to perform in ensembles and take part in school and public performances throughout the year. Our concert band, string ensembles and jazz ensemble are regularly invited to perform at special events such as the annual presentation nights.
If your child has a yearning for show business, they can audition for parts in our regular school musicals, which showcase the varied talents of our students in singing, dancing and acting as well as the technical aspects of staging and lighting!
