Our Mission

FCCC aims to provide Christian education that enables students to learn, develop in character, and in relationship with Jesus Christ and prepares them to take a purposeful place in community.

Philosophy of Education

Flinders Christian Community College seeks to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ as its first priority in all aspects of school life. The College therefore, attempts to create and sustain an innovative learning environment that deals holistically with the educational, relational, spiritual and physical needs of students from a Biblical perspective.

Flinders Christian Community College acknowledges God's grace as the source of all gifts of humankind and the resources of creation, and accepts the Bible as God’s Truth. The College seeks to encourage students and staff to serve the local and global community.

Flinders Christian Community College supports and promotes the principles and practice of Australian democracy in accordance with Australian law, which includes: respect for the authority of the elected government; the rule of law; equal rights for all; freedom of religion, freedom of speech and association.

Goals

  7. Develop, document and present curriculum that unfolds an understanding of God’s world and fosters a positive response towards God, others and the world in which we live. To inculcate a positive school culture which seeks to value all by displaying love, grace, compassion and forgiveness.
  8. Promote wise stewardship of time and natural resources; encourage a practical response to environmental and social issues.
  9. Promote a missional awareness both overseas and in the local community
