Welcome Paul Lewry: Tyabb Head of Year 9, 2019.
3 December 2018
Paul is an experienced educator who will join us at Flinders in 2019 as Head of Year 9. Paul comes to us from The Knox School in Wantirna South where he has spent the past 3 years designing and developing the Middle School Outdoor Education program and has worked closely with Monash University looking at the development of a personalised teaching model in Health and Physical Education. Prior to that, Paul and his wife were the Children and Families’ pastors at a large church in Melbourne with an added role overseeing the development of religious education learning materials aimed at schools and other church programs.
Paul is no stranger to the Mornington Peninsula, growing up in Frankston and eventually working at John Paul College in the role of Health and Physical Education Faculty Leader.
A devoted family man with two young daughters, Paul, along with his wife Juliette, run a successful business designing high quality teaching resources for students undertaking their VCE. As a family they love the outdoors, regularly planning camping trips together as well as bike riding and days at the beach. Paul is looking forward to being part of the Flinders community for years to come and is excited about the plans and direction of the school moving forward.
