The Board of Governance is delighted to announce that Mr Cameron Pearce, currently Campus Principal of Flinders Christian Community College, Carrum Downs campus has been appointed the new Executive Principal of Flinders Christian Community College commencing in 2015. Mr Pearce will succeed Mrs Jill Healey following her retirement at the end of the 2014 after 21 years of dedicated and outstanding service.
Flinders is devastated by the sudden and untimely death of one of our Tyabb Junior School students.
Our school community is in shock and struggling to come to terms with these tragic circumstances. We heard about the incident last night and have put plans in place to support our community.
The 30 year History of Flinders is captured in the book ‘Born to Bear Fruit’ written by former staff member and now Principal of Lighthouse Christian College, Mrs Avril Howard. In the forward of this book, Peter Reith Hon Member for Flinders in 1983 wrote:

Last week, our Board Chairman, David Flack announced to the College that I would be retiring as the Executive Principal of Flinders Christian Community College at the end of 2014. By then, I will have been honoured and privileged to be a part of this wonderful community for twenty one thoroughly enjoyable years.
