Flinders Christian Community College welcomes your inquiries about enrolments!

To apply for a place at Flinders, complete and submit an application form together with a fee of $100 per student to your campus. Application forms for each campus are provided below. The application process varies slightly depending on the needs of the child and the year level required:

Prep Applicants

  • You will be invited to attend an interview with a senior staff member to discuss the readiness of your child for school.
  • If you are offered a position at Flinders for your child, we will notify you by post.

Year 7 Applicants

  • In considering an application, the college gives consideration to the student’s previous reports.
  • If you are applying for a position at Carrum Downs or Tyabb Campuses, your child will be required to sit an independent test (approximate cost is $60).
  • You and your child will be invited to attend an interview with a senior staff member.
  • If you are offered a position at Flinders for your child, we will notify you by post.

All Other Year Levels

  • Selection is based on the student’s previous reports, an interview with a senior staff member, and acceptance of college values and expectations.

Please be aware that there is no automatic acceptance to the College; all applicants are required to complete the same application process. All applicants, including siblings, are considered as individuals through the interview process.

In the final stage of enrolment, you are required to pay the $600 bond, and sign the Financial and Parental Agreements, affirming support of the College, its programs, discipline and standards.

  • Enrol now for 2014.
  • Vacancies exist for Grade 6.
  • Limited vacancies exist in other year levels.
  • Applications for Year 7, 2014 will close Thursday 7th March, 2013.
  • Year 7, 2015 applicants are required to sit an independent test (approx. $65).

Information for Latrobe City

  • The Latrobe City Campus is a vibrant school environment, where your child will be engaged, challenged, creative, and successful. Students have a sense of belonging and are supported both within and outside of the classroom with individual attention.
  • Visit the College between 8:45am and 3:15pm Monday to Friday for a tour and experience what Flinders has to offer. You will be introduced to our modern facilities, helpful staff and friendly students.

Information for Tyabb

  • Limited vacancies are available in Year 3 and 6, 2013 and applications are invited.
  • Year 7 – 2014: The selection process for Year 7 in 2014 will commence in January 2013, and therefore preference will be given to enrolment applications received by Friday 7 December 2012. This date has been extended; please contact the Registrar for further information.
