On 26th July Year 7 had an exclusive visit from the Carrousel Theatre puppeteers. They put on a magnificent performance of Puss in Boots “Der Gestiefelte Kater”, half in German and half in English. We found out that “Puss in Boots” is a German fairytale, and that puppets are an important part of German culture.

The puppets were all homemade and they looked incredible. It is obvious that there is a lot of work put into the puppets, which take five days to make. It was a funny and interesting show and most of the Year 7 students enjoyed it.
