Teen Drinking Law
The Victorian Government’s “Teen Drinking Law” website contains lots of information and useful resources including downloadable apps relating to teen drinking.
“Did you know…?”
Around 25 Victorians aged 15 to 19 are admitted to hospital every week because of alcohol.
Parents and Young People
It is now against the law in Victoria to serve alcohol in a private home to anyone under 18, unless their parent or guardian has given permission.
This law is part of the Government’s efforts to reduce the harm that drinking creates for young people and their families and friends.
