Community Spirit Flourishes @ Tyabb
I am extremely proud of my 9B home group for raising a lot of excitement and money. I am also very proud of other Year 9 students who pitched in by helping to sell cupcakes, popcorn and fairy floss. The amount of organisation that goes into this sort of thing would surprise many of us.

A team of Flinders Equestrian riders competed recently at the inter-school Dressage and Showjumping days held at Ayr Hill.

Last week Flinders College was well represented at a sporting award ceremony held at the office of The Hon Greg Hunt MP – Member for Flinders.
Costs a Little – Means a Lot
If you have walked into the reception area of the Tyabb campus during the past week, you will have noticed a Christmas tree set up in the front corner. You can hardly miss seeing the tree, even from the outside, because of the bright flashing lights that decorate it. Setting up the tree during the month of June is not our way of trying to hurry up the passing of this year, nor is it a countdown to the Christmas vacation. It is, however, pre-empting Christmas.
Camp Rock/Glee Review
In the first week of August, Flinders Tyabb Secondary students performed a musical production of ‘Camp Rock/Glee’.
Brilliantly led by Miss Leeder as the Director, 60 students danced, acted and sang their way through a great Disney show called, ‘Camp Rock’ and an episode of ‘Glee’, also superbly written by Miss Leeder.
