30th Year Anniversary – Proposal of name and logo change

Education Maintenance Allowance 2012 – Instalment Two

The Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) is provided to assist eligible families with the costs associated with the education of their children. Parents/guardians whose children have transferred to Flinders Christian Community College since 29 February 2012 will need to submit a new EMA application form. Applications close 8 August 2012.

Simple Living

On Monday 16 July, all Flinders staff attended the biannual Christian Schools Australia Vic/Tas Conference held at Waverley Christian College.  The keynote speaker, Deborah Storie from TEAR Australia presented the ‘Simple Living’ message of TEAR.  Deborah served as a TEAR Australia fieldworker with rural community development and disaster management teams in Afghanistan.

Treasures in Heaven

There was much excitement this week as over two thousand Flinders students returned to school. Time was spent catching up with friends, chatting, and, of course, finding out what others did in the holidays.  This excitement was not confined to the students.

2011 Music Tour: Tasmania

On the last week of Term 2 students from the three campus’ of Flinders College came together to take part in the Flinders Intercampus Music Tour. The music tour took place in Tasmania; we played a number of concerts to many schools from all over the state.
